|Camp Toccoa at Currahee, Inc. was incorporated in 2012 as a separate tax exempt 501(c)(3) corporation (pending IRS approval) with its own corporate charter and board of directors by members of the Stephens County History Society in response to a growing need to provide visitor resource facilities at Historic Camp Toccoa.|

Honorary Trustees shall be persons of considerable public stature who have either served with distinction in our Military or have made a significant contribution to commemorating the service and sacrifices of the Men and Women of our Military Service and who wish to lend their name to provide the Camp Toccoa At Currahee Organization both legitimacy and a high profile with which to promote its programs.
Honorary Trustees shall me non-voting members.

John Eisenhower, BG (Ret) *
Son of President Dwight D. Eisenhower and his wife Mamie, retired United States Army Brigadier General, and the author of several books of military history. He served as the U.S. Ambassador to Belgium from 1969 to 1971. During his father's presidency he served as Assistant Staff Secretary in the White House, on the Army's General Staff, and in the White House as assistant to General Andrew Goodpaster. more...
Douglas Kinnard, LTG (Ret) *
A 1944 graduate of West Point, served in combat in World War II, Korea, and Vietnam, retiring as a brigadier general. After receiving a Ph.D. from Princeton, he taught at the University of Vermont, at which he is now professor emeritus of political science. Subsequently, he was on the faculty of the Naval War College and the National Defense University. Now a resident of Chambersburg, Pennsylvania, he is the author of seven books.
* Note: All three of these Generals to be were in the famous West Point Class that graduated on D – Day, June 6 1944.
